Procedure for cancellation of a marketplace sale
When selling items on our marketplace, our top priority is to ensure quality and satisfaction. However, sellers may offer items for sale that they are unable to ship after all. This post provides guidance for sellers on how to proceed in such a situation:
Step-by-Step Cancellation Guide:
- Contact your buyer under "My Sale Summary" in the details of your sale. Explain the reason why you can't ship the item.
- Cancellation of your sale: As long as the shipping bill has not been requested by you and you have not yet "marked as shipped", you can cancel the sale yourself. This can be done in the details of your sale via the problem message. Click here "Report problem" and select the reason "Item not found" "Item sold elsewhere". Your buyer will be informed accordingly and will automatically receive the refund.
I have already requested the shipping label. Can I still cancel the sale?
- Since costs have already been incurred, you cannot cancel the sale of your marketplace item yourself.
- In this case, contact our customer service via the problem message "Something else" and describe your problem. The customer service will then carry out the cancellation for you.
