The payout for an item sold through the marketplace (self-posting and shipped sales) is released on the 4th business day after successful delivery of the goods. This deadline takes into account the buyers right of return and helps ensure a smooth sales process.
Conditions for payout:
Your payout is ready when:
a) the receipt of your goods was confirmed more than 72 hours ago and
b) your buyer has not reported a problem within 72 hours of receipt.
The 72 hour time limit is for the protection of the buyer:in so that they can check their order.
Check payment status:
- Sales Summary: Log into your account and go to the "My Sales" section in your Sales Summary to see which sales are still pending.
- Check Receipt Confirmation: Check your sales summary to see if there is confirmation of receipt of your package and if the 72-hour time limit has passed. If you have chosen uninsured shipping, your buyer must manually confirm receipt. If this has not been done yet, ask them directly by writing a message. Don't worry, if there is no confirmation, we will automatically follow up on the 10th day after shipping. Tip: Even with insured shipping a confirmation problem can occur. Ask your buyer:in for confirmation in this case as well
- Check problem messages: If a problem message appears in your sales overview, it is blocking the payout. See what problem was reported and, if possible, resolve the issue directly with your buyer:in in our Messenger. Ask them to mark the message as resolved so that your payout can be released. If the person does not respond, you can contact support using the "Something else" problem message.
How do I request my payout?
If the 4th day after the delivery has come and there was no problem message from the buyer, you can request your proceeds:
- Visit the "My sales summary" view in your user profile.
- If a payout is ready, you will see the "Payout" button. Click the button.
- Follow the instructions to request your payout. You must already have a correct bank account in your personal data.
- Once you have requested the payout, it will take a few business days (2-7 business days) for your proceeds to be credited to your bank account.
- You can see the status of your payout under "Your sales overview" and "Past payouts". Here you can view all settlements and see if the status is "requested" or already "paid".
